Other less expensive counters you may find
may not include error detection features. This means that you are not assured
of an accurate count each time you use your counter. This defeats the purpose
of having a high speed counter if it is not accurate!
These SEMACON counters "include" error
detection as a standard feature.

Many of our counters offer an advanced
counterfeit detection system designed to search for and pinpoint suspect
counterfeit bank notes. Featuring the options of high-tech ultraviolet
(UV) counterfeit detection, or UV detection combined with magnetic (MG)
counterfeit detection, our counters provide the ultimate in counterfeit
currency screening. |
High
Speed
SEMACON counters offer the flexibility
of variable counting speeds as fast as 1,500 bank notes per minute and
as slow as 600 notes per minute. With this wide range of operating speeds,
our counters can efficiently and reliably process notes of all conditions,
ranging from very worn to brand new. Additionally, the slow speeds enable
the operator to inspect for "out of place" denominations.
Dust
Shield
The optional Semacon
dust shield deflects dirt and dust from blowing into the operator's face
and reduces the health risks associated with counting money.

which distinguish smaller dimension bank notes within a bundle, for countries

actually simple to use! It has never been easier to count money.
Our control panel is one of the simpliest to use in the industry. While
simple to use, our bank grade counters maintain all the sophisticated features
that are both expected, and demanded, by such heavy power users such as
banks, credit unions and other financial institutions.
Agitation System
All of our S-1400 series
counters include an agitation system that vibrates in a high speed manner,
designed to ruffle and break up the banknotes. The agitator helps to prevent
multiple notes from sticking together as the notes pass through the counter.
This helps to insure the most accurate count possible, by reducing the
number of double notes & chain notes so the counter can provide the
most accurate total count possible. This feature is especially desirable
in medium to high use situations. This agitation system is most common
on our bank grade series of currency counters.
Dust Reduction Technology
Our optional dust shield deflects dirt
and dust from blowing into the operator's face and reduces the health risks
associated with counting money. The S-1450, one of our top of the
line counters, includes the added benefit of a sophisticated dust reduction
system, designed to further reduce air-blown particles.
Dust Cover
Each unit includes a protective storage
cover to keep dust off of your counter between uses.
Optional External Display

Available as an option,
our SEMACON currency counters work with an external display which allows
easy viewing in situations where there is another party supervising the
counting. This is a very popular option for bank merchant tellers
to allow their customers to supervise the counting process or any other
application where another employee or a customer is supervising the counting
process.
